Two separate and unrelated items compose this small collection. Included is a 1797 letter from Shepard to his daughter giving her instructions for picking up some flour he had ordered. The second item is an 1802 survey of land, believed to be the Pulteney estates. The survey may be of the present village of Scottsville, N.Y.
